How Cockpit Works

Everything you need to know about the system, the modules, and how to get the most out of your sales intelligence.

Overview

What is Cockpit?

Cockpit is a sales intelligence system that covers the full call lifecycle: pre-call research, mid-call knowledge, and post-call documentation. It runs on a custom knowledge base built around your product, your competitors, your methodology, and your market. Every output is structured into scannable cards designed for the pressure of a live sales environment.

Who is it for?

B2B sales professionals who run complex sales cycles. SDRs doing precision outbound, full-cycle AEs managing pipeline and closing, and technical sellers navigating deep product conversations. If your sales motion involves research, objection handling, and follow-up, Cockpit was built for you.

How is it different from ChatGPT?

ChatGPT gives you text walls from a general model. Cockpit gives you structured cards from a system that knows your product, your competitors, your pricing, and your methodology. No prompt engineering. No setup time per call. No rebuilding context every session. It is a maintained system, not a blank text box.

Knowledge Base

What goes in the knowledge base?

Everything that matters to the sale. Product documentation, pricing logic, competitive intelligence, customer objections, proof points, industry context, CRM data, and the language your buyers actually use. The knowledge base is the foundation that every module pulls from.

How is it built?

We build it with you. During onboarding, we ingest your existing materials: pitch decks, product docs, competitive battlecards, CRM exports, call recordings, and internal wikis. Then we structure it for retrieval during live sales situations. You review and refine. The knowledge base is yours.

How is it maintained?

The knowledge base is a living system. As your product evolves, pricing changes, or new competitors emerge, the knowledge base gets updated. This is part of the service. You are not maintaining prompts or updating a wiki. We handle it.

Playbook

What is the playbook?

The playbook is the agreed sales motion encoded into the system. It defines how your team qualifies, what discovery looks like, how objections are handled, what follow-up standards are, and what signals indicate a deal is real. It is not a script. It is structured judgment.

How does it shape output?

Every module references the playbook. Pre-call research highlights what matters based on your qualification criteria. Mid-call responses follow your objection handling framework. Post-call summaries flag the signals your pipeline methodology cares about. The playbook is what makes Cockpit yours, not generic.

Pre-Call Intel

Pre-call ICP scoring and prospect research cards

What does pre-call cover?

Live web research on the prospect and their company. ICP scoring with fit verdict and red flags. Stakeholder mapping. Company intel with recent news, funding, tech stack, and hiring signals. Discovery question prep matched to your methodology. Personalized outreach drafts for email and LinkedIn.

How long does it take?

The system runs live web research and cross-references against your knowledge base. Current generation takes 60-90 seconds for a full prospect workup. The output is structured into scannable cards so you can absorb what matters in under a minute.

What sources does it use?

Company websites, LinkedIn, news outlets, job postings, funding databases, technology trackers, and your own CRM data. Every data point includes a source citation so you can verify before the call.

On-Call Knowledge

How does mid-call support work?

During a call, you can query the system for product details, pricing, competitive positioning, objection responses, and technical specifications. Responses come from your knowledge base, not a general model. The interface is designed for speed: scannable cards you can glance at without breaking conversation flow.

What can I ask it?

Anything in your knowledge base. How does our product compare to [competitor]? What is the pricing for [tier]? How do we handle the [specific objection]? What proof points do we have for [use case]? The system knows your product as well as your best SE.

Does it listen to the call?

No. Cockpit is not a call recording or real-time transcription tool. It is a knowledge retrieval system you query when you need it. You stay in control of the conversation. The system is there when you need backup, not watching over your shoulder.

Post-Call Summary

Post-call summary with stakeholders, sentiment, and CRM-ready fields

What does post-call generate?

Structured meeting notes, sentiment analysis, action items, buying signals, objections raised, follow-up email drafts, and CRM-ready fields. Paste a transcript or call notes and the system turns it into documentation you can actually use.

How does it integrate with CRM?

Post-call output is formatted to match standard CRM fields. Copy-paste into Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or whatever you use. Structured fields for next steps, stakeholders mentioned, objections, and deal signals. No reformatting required.

Test Flight

What is a Test Flight?

A Test Flight is how you evaluate Cockpit. We build a working Cockpit on your product, your competitors, and your market. You use it on a real prospect. If it earns its place, you keep it. If not, you walk away. No contracts, no commitments, no risk.

How does it work?

Step 1: Book a call. We learn your product, your sales motion, and your pain points. Step 2: We build your Cockpit. Custom knowledge base, playbook, and all three modules configured for your team. Step 3: You fly it. Demo on your own Cockpit with a real prospect. Step 4: Decision time. Keep it or walk away.

What does it cost?

The Test Flight is free. You evaluate Cockpit on your own terms with your own data. Pricing for ongoing use is based on team size and knowledge base complexity. We discuss that after you have seen what the system does for you.

Live Demo

This is a public demo Cockpit built for a real client. Explore the modules, run a pre-call, ask the knowledge copilot a question. Pre-Call runs live web research, so expect about 80-100 seconds for a full workup.
